Competence Center nFuse recently obtained the ISO 27001 (information security management) certificate for following services: “24/7 Application Managed Services, operational monitoring (including custom built applications) and hosting”. What?
ISO 27001 is a globally recognized standard relating to information security. The standard describes which processes can be followed to secure information, with the goal of guaranteeing confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information.
Obtaining the certificate shows that a company has met all requirements to ensure customer data security. These requirements have to do with establishing, implementing, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving these data and this is maintained in the Information Security Management System (ISMS), through (for example) performing a periodic risk analysis or knowing when to follow which process.
